i’m working on a presentation and need another way to say verbally/graphically "circling the wagons"?

I’m trying to find another way in a presentation to say that our company is "circling the wagons". Needs to get the point across that we are reacting to tough economic times and restructuring accordingly. Can anyone help? The wagon idiom worked well, but this is an international audience where 50% of the folks won’t get it.
