How much weight could covered wagons hold?

I can’t find this online and was hoping someone could help me.. thanks the help is appreciated!

That varied. Some could carry only about 700 pounds, while others could manage almost a ton.

    depends what size they were…some one had tires 12 feet tall…some couldn’t hold a family’s things and the family so they had to walk
