Survey: How many Irish people remember the Wanderly Wagon show on kids tv back in the day?

I showed my son a clip of it & he just looked at it as if to say what is that all about …for those that remember it appreciate your answers :)
& sneaky snake & Judge did the safe cross code thing :)
It wasn;t as it there was any choice on RTE back then & I was very young but after seeing a youtube video today of it brought it all back..

Oh, I do! I loved it … and Bosco. Mind you, I’ve seen Bosco recently, and think it’s no wonder that my mother told me he was dead …

    Yes I do remember….Judge (the dog) and Godmother and …..O’Brien (?) I think.
    Also remember the song that was played at the beginning and end of each episode.

    Am not too surprised at your son’s reaction…it’s quite different to what’s on tv now!

    Did it not come on daily either before or just after the six o’ clock news ?
    I even remember the tune. haha
    And the Magic Roundabout was another one and the Moonies.
    We were easily pleased :-)

    Yep, I have fuzzy recollections of it. A grandmother, and another guy in a funny jacket and a white dog (Judge?) and a crow (I think) Vague recollections of something called Forty Coats too and Bosco of course, liked that when I was a kid, the Magic Door and all that, lol.

    Yeah, i remember being brought into the Paddys Day Parade and seeing it there, and getting very excited by the whole thing.
