i want to turbo charge my 1993 subaru Impreza AWD wagon. where would be the best place to look and what kind should i get? it has around 110 HP. how much would this cost? how long would it take for a DYI job and how much would it cost to get someone else to do it for me?
Couple of ways to do this right. One is to build the engine to handle the boost and buy a bolt on turbo kit from AVO. You will make less power than a stock WRX for about $7000. Or for a little less, you could probably have an older WRX motor and ECU transplanted into your car. I have seen this done at some shops for as little as $5000. If you were looking for a simple bolt on solution, you will not be able to push much boost on your stock motor and it will not be worth the money.

I think you should´nt waste your time and money.
there are thousands of new cars in market. these cars are cheap efficient and more reliable.
but if you like your old gold then go and buy a V8 and rev your car.
