Thursday, April 15th, 2010

Im 15 year old girl, live in the UK, i surf… so i want a surf themed room, i have already decorated my room a sandy cream sort of colour, i have a turquoise coloured real shell light shade, turquoise curtains with real shell tie backs and have a picture of a big barrell wave on one wall and a Volks Wagon surf van canvas on my other wall to, both in a blue colour :) i also have some small painted starfish and shells on my window ledge as well as Hawaiian luau hung around my room… i also have white bedding with hand made turquoise blue cushions :) i have white furniture and i was going for the beach surf sort of look… so i was wondering if anyone else had any other ideas of what i could put accessories wise in my room???? i cant put a surfboard in my room because its not a very big room and my i need my three surfboards to use when i go surfing… any ideas would be appreciated, thanks xx Remember im from the UK, so please dont reccommend anything from a US store. thanks again :) xxx

You can print off pics from the computer from companies like Billabong or Roxy or Rip Curl or Quiksilver, all really big surfin brands. Maybe just get some cheap jandals and pin them to the wall. Or a cheap beach towel. Blow up a beach ball and just have it round your room for when you get board (see what i did there hehe)

If my car is repossessed in the third quarter of the taxation year how do I claim expenses and other related c?

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

How does this effect my CCA.
Since the car was repossessed I made Zero in profit. The Loans agency sold the car for under 4000 dollars. It was a 2006 Focus Wagon loaded.

The first thing you need to do is include whole words in your question because I have no idea what an unrelated c is.

Will a station wagon be harder to back up in than a smaller car?

Sunday, April 11th, 2010

I took my driver’s test yesterday, & failed because the front bumper touched a cone. It didn’t fall, it moved though. I’m going back Monday to retake it, in a different car though. This time it will be in a Ford Focus station wagon. I can’t help but think it will be harder to back out in it. Does anyone know if that’s the case? Thanks for the help!
THANKS MARK & ERICA ESPECIALLY ;)
A car you are used to will be easier to pass the test in than a car you aren’t used to driving. What’s the big hurry? Practice some more so you don’t hit things, and after you pass the test keep practicing. Bumping a cone is like scratching somebody’s car in a parking lot. You can drive away from the cone, but the scratched car is going to cost you. Spend the day parking on Saturday. There are so many folks driving these days who just barely passed and then went on to get worse as they drive with low skill and collect bad habits.

can a twin or full size mattress fit into the back of a subaru outback station wagon?

Monday, April 5th, 2010

so i’m gonna be doing alotttt of traveling and camping this year and i thought it would be cool to put a mattress in the back of my car. i was wondering if a twin or full size mattress would fit the back of a subaru outback station wagon with the back seats folded down?

Twin possibly, but squeezed a bit between the wheel well intrusions. Measure between the wheel well intrusions with the seats down flat to be sure.
Full size, now way, sorry.
For very little money you could get a foam pad several inches thick and trim it to size. It would serve quite well as a mattress and would be much easier to store when not needed.

Speaker Replacement & Price: 1988 Volvo Station Wagon?

Saturday, April 3rd, 2010

I have a 1988 240 Volvo Station Wagon and I wanted to get new speakers for it. I don’t want anything fancy or top of the line, just something that sounds better then the speakers that it came with. About how much would this cost.

from wal-mart you can pick up front and back speakers for about 100 dollars. not including installation, not sure about that.

My volvo awd wagon’s water pump needs to be filled daily?

It’s a brand new water pump, but, for some reason it’s empty everyday? And, there is no water on the ground? Please help…thanks

Check the driver and passenger interior floor. If the coolant is leaking there then u just found the mystery leak. The heater core needs replacement. If the floor is bone dry then the coolant could be burning in the engine due to a blown head gasket. But wait,i found a mystery leak at the rear floor which i never experienced before.Any interior coolant leak on the floor is a definite failed heater core.Keep me posted and i will give u other possible cause of coolant loss if all above checks out ok.
